Nestled in the heart of Wombat State Forrest, this sacred space offers the perfect setting to reconnect with your true self through ancient yogic practices.

This retreat is led by three dedicated practitioners, Chuck, Dean, and Titin.

Each bringing a unique depth of experience and heartfelt presence to the journey.

Chuck has trained extensively in Hatha, Vinyasa, and Pranayama practices across Thailand and India. With a steady personal practice since the age of 19, he offers a grounded and insightful approach to yogic living.

Dean is a devoted yoga teacher offering breath-led stillness and long-held postures. Trained in advanced yoga and Tantra Kundalini, he honours tradition, presence, and yoga as a path of self-remembrance.

Titin is a Minset & Holistic Coach, Spiritual Coach, and Intuitive Energy Healer. She supports individuals in reconnecting with their true essence and uncovering their life purpose with clarity and confidence.

Throughout the retreat, you will be guided through:

🧘 Daily Yoga Asana Classes – suitable for all levels, focusing on strength, flexibility, and mindful movement.

🌬️ Pranayama (Breathwork) – awaken your life force through powerful breath practices that calm the mind and energise the body.

🎵 Sound Healing – experience the deep restorative power of sound baths using crystal bowls, gongs, and mantra to bring harmony to your nervous system.

🕉️ Kirtan (Sacred Chanting) – join together in uplifting group chanting, opening the heart through devotion, rhythm, and connection.

What does my ticket include?·    

·    Full access to the Quiet Earth program: opening ceremony, yoga asanas, pranayama, sound healing, kirtan, and closing ceremony
·      2 nights’ accommodation in shared ashram-style rooms
(shared bathroom facilities)  Extra fees apply for private rooms.
·      All meals are included – breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner.
Each meal is vegetarian and lovingly prepared in the sattvic tradition, promoting balance, clarity, and nourishment.

Please note: If you have specific dietary requirements such as gluten-free or food allergies, kindly indicate this on the booking form. A surcharge of $10 per night applies for special dietary needs.

What’s it like staying in an Ashram?

An ashram is a spiritual retreat dedicated to the practice of yoga, meditation, and self-inquiry. Traditionally rooted in Indian culture, it serves as a peaceful sanctuary where individuals can step away from everyday distractions and focus on inner growth, healing, and mindfulness.

As part of the Quiet Earth experience, guests are invited to engage in communal activities like shared living, caring for the ashram through cleaning, and tending to the gardens.
The environment is intentionally minimalist, encouraging you to let go of distractions and focus inward.

What is the Accommodation like?

In accordance with Ashram guidelines, men and women will be accommodated in separate rooms.

  • The standard ticket offers shared ashram-style rooms (shared bathroom facilities)

  • Each room is clean and simply furnished with single beds and single mattresses

  • Guests will have access to a desk lamp for reading, a small shelf for clothing, and a bedside table

Please note: Rooms are intentionally minimal to support a distraction-free environment and encourage inner reflection

What to wear at the Ashram:

The ashram offers a serene and simple environment, inviting you to slow down and reconnect with yourself.

To maintain a respectful and inclusive space, we ask that modest clothing be worn in shared areas—please avoid tight or revealing outfits outside of workshops.

During yoga and workshop sessions, activewear and yoga tights are appropriate.

Please note that Rocklyn is generally around 5°C cooler than metropolitan Melbourne. We recommend bringing warm layers, especially for early mornings and evenings.

What is the food like ?

All meals are lovingly prepared by the Ashram community in the traditional ‘sattvic’ style of Indian yoga cuisine, with most ingredients sourced from the Ashram’s organic garden.

Sattvic food, rooted in ancient yogic tradition, emphasizes pure, clean, and wholesome nourishment that fosters clarity, calmness, and balance in both body and mind. The term sattvic means “pure” or “harmonious” in Sanskrit.

This diet centres on fresh, natural, and minimally processed foods such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains, nuts, seeds, legumes, and moderate amounts of dairy like milk and ghee. It excludes foods that are overly spicy, oily, processed, fermented, or contain stimulants like caffeine and alcohol.

To support this philosophy, the Ashram does not serve coffee or alcohol but offers a variety of soothing herbal teas instead.

Is there WiFi or connectivity ?

The Ashram is nestled in the heart of Wombat State Forest, where mobile reception is limited—and that’s very much part of the experience.

To maintain a peaceful and focused environment, phones are not to be used during workshops or in any common areas within the Ashram.

If you need to make a call or check messages, please step outside to the front gate.

The Ashram is intended to be a phone-free zone, supporting deeper presence, connection, and inner stillness.

Getting there:

There are 2 ways in which you can come to the Ashram:

1.      Own transport  ( free parking on site )

Public transport by train or bus to Ballarat Train Station.
Then Uber or Taxi to Rocklyn Ashram
( 30 minutes – approximately $35 – $45 one way )
